Slide Bolts - Vertical &
Horizontal
These iron slide bolts have
a spring that keeps them in place. They are usually mounted
horizontally, at a convenient height in the middle of the door.
The cane bolts are mounted
vertically at the tops and bottoms of doors -- the extra handle
length make them especially suitable as large barn door hardware.
The cane bolts have a slot filed in the slider that works together
with the spring locking them in the up position.
