Strap Hinges -
Ball, Spear & Flame - Strap hinges were common on doors of all
sizes, from small cabinets to large barn doors. In addition to
providing a pivot point they also help hold the door together.
They are usually about 2/3 the width of the door, sometimes the top one
is longer than the bottom. These have a 3/8 inch rolled barrel. |
