This adz is light and the sweep is flattened on the bottom for a smoother finish. Great for shallow hollowing like chair seats and small bowls.
 
I am working on a more aggressive adz design, better suited to roughing out large bowls. I am only making heads for adzes right now, until I settle on what handle style I like best.
